Abigail's 14th Birthday

My oh my! Where does the time fly off to?!
Saturday we celebrated our youngest daughter's 14th birthday.
Always just a simple celebration with the birthday girl's choice of the meal and dessert.
And sometimes a few little gifts.
My prayer for Abigail is that she grows into a Godly young woman who loves and serves her savior, Jesus Christ, with all her heart according to the commands of His Holy Word.

We are fans of the Piano Guys.

Boaz's 11th Birthday

The baby of the family turned 11 last Thursday. We had a little hotdog roast for him, with everyone's favorite dessert, Dirt Cake, complete with gummy worms.

Dancing

Last Saturday, we went to a dance in celebration of our friend Alex's birthday. This was the first time any of our family has been to a dance, but we all had a lot of fun!
Before we went we decided to grab a couple pictures while we were all dresses up.

This is Levi being..............Levi.

Before the dance we had a lovely dinner of BBQ. It was very good.

This was the Scottish Polka. Unfortunately, we didn't get any pictures of the other dances.

Garrett's first birthday

Saturday we celebrated Garrett's first birthday. He doesn't actually turn one until Wednesday. But it worked best to do it on Saturday because Gabriel's mom and two of his siblings are here and they will be leaving tomorrow. We also had TJ's family over.
He got little cupcakes.
Waiting for his cake.
A spoon will suffice for the time.

"Ohh, what is this? Let me touch it. "
Elise had to hold his hands because he really wanted to touch the burning candle.
He wasn't sure what to think about everyone singing to him.
Now, what to do with this cupcake?
After they had him taste it he figured it out pretty quick.
This is the good stuff.
Of course there were gifts, but we didn't get many good pictures. He had fun tearing the wrapping paper though. :)

Jordon and Levi

Levi turned 15 and Jordon turned 18. We celebrated both of there birthdays on Friday with the Draper juniors and the News and our new neighbors. There were about ten kids under 12 playing in the house.  It was a rather loud night. :)

Jordon had cheese cake, as usual.

Like the Converse Shoe cake that Elise made? :D

 Yummy fingers.
Saturday we watched Allen, Natasha, and Titus for TJ and Rachel. I grabbed this pictures of the cutey pies watching Boaz play on the computer.

TJ's birthday and ice skating

Yesterday was TJ's thirtieth birthday. (Wow, really?) They came over to our house to have pizza and dirt cake, as usual. TJ's has had dirt cake for every birthday as far back as I can remember.

Natasha. Yes, she has dirt cake on her face. :)

Earlier that day we went ice skating with some friends. Very fun.

Boaz flying around like a crazy person. He's pretty good at ice skating.

Birthdays

Since 2 of our grandchildren's birthdays fall around the Christmas holidays and TJ and his family go out of town to the other grandparents for Christmas, we celebrated the birthdays yesterday.

Titus celebrated his 1st birthday (which is actually today) and Natasha is 3 on the 25th.

Since I haven't been real excited about posting on our blog for a while, I will take the easy way out and direct you to Johanna's blog that has the birthday pictures.
Hope you enjoy the pics.

Abigail's 13 birthday

Yesterday was Abigail's 13th birthday. We had T.J., Rachel, Elise, and Gabriel over for lunch.
She wanted to have Ice Cream Cake, which was very good!

Umm. Spoon tastes yummy.
Mom wanted to get a picture of all four of her grandchildren together. Do you have any idea how hard it is to get a picture of four children five and under, all smiling at once? Very hard. These two pictures are the best that we got.

Titus. He is so cute! And so friendly!
Aww. I thought this one was just CUTE!
Garrett likes to get up on his hands and knees. He hasn't quite figured out how to crawl. Yet.
