Celebrating and Dancing

Saturday evening we attended a wedding anniversary celebration.
The couple's children planned it as a surprise for their parents.
They are so creative and talented. The daughters even made their mother's dress. It was beautiful.
It was also a 'dress up' occasion.
My girls either made or altered dresses for the occasion.
Of course there was dancing. Old English Dancing.  It has become a favorite with my kids, even the boys. They just have so much fun.

Garrett is on the move

This little dude has learned how to army crawl. He has been getting up on his hands and knees for quite a while but he is just figuring out how to move.

It's going to be fun trying to keep him out of things now. :)

Ronald Knew

I don't 'worship' Ronald Reagan, but he did do some things right.
This is an enlightening video.

Finally, somebody with some guts!

Thank you, Lt. Col. Allen West, Ret.
The other members of the panel in this video seemed to fumble around trying not to give a direct answer.
To me, it looked like Lt. Col. West was disgusted at that and couldn't hold his tongue any longer.
Lt. Col. West was elected in November, 2010 as the Republican Representative of the 22nd Congressional District in Florida

Eye Opening Videos

I am going to go out on a limb here (given the climate of our anti-christainity government today and the brainwashing/indoctrination of such) and say that when the founding fathers of our country meant freedom of religion, they meant freedom for the Christian religion in it's many denominations.
Meaning the one and only true religion of Jesus Christ being God and Savior.

Happy is that people, that is in such a case, yea, happy is that people, who's God is the Lord. Psalm 144:15
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; Psalm 33:12

And, what kind of country doesn't allow it's school children to display it's own flag!!!!!!!?

Also, here's a cute little quip that a friend forwarded to me:

What is the proper meaning of Right and Left in politics??

Seek Biblical solutions to solve every day problems.

A wise man’s heart inclines him to the right,
but a fool’s heart to the left. Ecclesiastes 10:2 (English Standard Version)

More Snow

Friday afternoon it started snowing and didn't stop until there was about 3 inches of snow on the ground. And then that night there was sleet and icy rain so in the morning there was about half an inch of ice covering the snow. That made it very difficult to walk in or make snowmen in, so we had to wait until it started melting to make the snowman.

Hey! It grew arms!
This is Jordon making a castle for.........
King Boaz
This is our very mean house that grew teeth. When you walk out the door you have to be careful that they don't fall on your head now that it's melting.
We put the snowman by the steps and yesterday a big icicle fell on him and busted his head.
I took this picture from the upstairs window.
This is Abigail, Peighton, and Boaz using some old skis for sleds.

Here's a video of how it's done.

Bouncing Balls

Last summer (2009), I had ordered some of the giant bouncing balls that kids and adults can bounce on. I got a dicsount if I ordered 5 or 6. Can't remember which. But anyway, I ordered them in time to give one to my grandson, Allen, and one to Christy Castille, both turning 3 on August 16. Also I got one for my son Boaz, who turned 8 in October. Plus I got extras in sizes for the other kids in my home to bounce on. One of them was a huge adult size. I have only one video of the kids bouncing and just now thought of posting it on the blog, now that it is January 2010. The huge adult one didn't last so long. One night while no one was bouncing on it, just sitting on the floor, it gave up the ghost. Bummer!
It was a riot watching all the kids bounce on them. Thankfully my living room could handle the fun.

Here's one from today with Abigail and Boaz bouncing.
