Texas

We went to Hico, Texas last week to visit our friends, Daniel and Suzanne New and their son, Gabriel. We left at 4:a.m. on Wednesday, April 22 and arrived in Hico around 4p.m. that afternoon. That was a long drive. This is the city of Dallas.

On our way toward Glen Rose. We noticed that the terrain was a lot different from here in middle TN. It was sandy and the trees were short. Going out of Glen Rose it started to get hilly.

There is a small creation museum in Glen Rose, which is about 30 minutes from Hico. Our friend, Grabriel New, took us to the museum. The museum is near the Paluxy River where all the dinosaur footprints are found. In the museum they had the casts of dinosaur footprints with a man's footprint inside of it.

Ready to garden

Yesterday Elise disced the gardens. Now we can start planting pretty soon. I hope.

Along with that I thought I would post some pictures of the plants we have in the greenhouse.
This is broccoli and cabbage.

Tomatoes and peppers

Lettuce

A whole bunch of different herbs.

There will be a lot more then that in the garden when we get it all planted.
