That's what my daughter said today on the way to church as we passed through town, looking at all the damage and deep carved out "mini canyons".
My daughter and I haven't been out through the main part of town since before the major storms and flooding last weekend.
We did go out the other day down one highway that you can see quite a bit of damage. Washed out bridges, which were peoples driveways, moved mobile homes, houses that were filled with mud left by the receding water and the furniture dragged out. Also you could see all the creek gravel all over fields and yards that was left behind when the water went down.
At a friends house, they had a huge deep hole carved out by all the rushing water. You could probably fit more than a couple of vehicles in the hole.
Today we went through Centerville and could see new places carved out and washed out.
Water is a very forceful power.
So why can't people believe that a major flood (Noah's Flood) could carve out the Grand Canyon when it only took one to three days to carve out new places in a small town! Plus destroy buildings and roads!
